Medical Malpractice Lawsuit Study: Beware of Assumptions

A recent study by a group of Boston health-policy researchers of almost 1,500 randomly selected malpractice suits in the U.S. concluded that "the problem with medical malpractice litigation is not that too many undeserving people get paid, but rather that not enough deserving people get paid."
