Best Hospitals of 2006 List Published

U.S. News and World Report has just released it newest comprehensive listing of the nation's best hospitals.   The major elements of the scores are reputation, mortality, other factors such as quality-of care measures, and reputational specialities.  For a complete explanation of these and other ranking factors, please visit the U.S. News & World Report Best Health Guide Methodology  summary.

Following are links to the 14 hospitals that qualified for the Honor Roll by ranking at or near the top in at least six specialities.  In addition, the point values assigned to each hospital in the various specialties are also included.
